DETROIT RANGER STATION

GATES

Gates Mayor Mike Higgs passes the baton to Mrs. Josephine Reid,
a long-time Mill City resident, at her home. Mrs. Reid was
accompanied by Mill City Mayor Roel Lundquist.

MILL CITY

Mrs. Josephine Reid displays the baton with Ken Schaffner in Kimmel Park. Mr.
Schaffner, a local artist from the Santiam Canyon, volunteered to carve the relay baton.

Lunch was served in the Kimmel Park by Papa Al's.

STAYTON

Mrs. Josephine Reid carried the baton from her
home in Mill City to Kimmel Park and then to
the end of the leg in Stayton.

The Roadkill Kruzers Car Club and others pose one final time in Stayton at the end of a historic day in Marion County.
