San Salvador

Sheriff Russ Isham, St. Paul Rodeo Queen Kimberly Ernst, St. Paul Mayor
Kathy Connor, and the Sheriff's Mounted Posse transport the relay baton on
horseback from San Salvador Landing to St. Paul on July 4.

St. Paul

The St. Paul delegation brings the baton down Main Street to St. Paul High School.

St. Paul Mayor Kathy Connor passes the baton to Commissioner Patti Milne
who carried the baton in the rodeo parade. The parade theme was Oregon's
1-5-0! Let's Rodeo!

After the St. Paul parade, Commissioner Milne passes
the baton to Sheriff Russ Isham, who takes it by car to
Champoeg State Park.

Champoeg State Park

Greg Leo, President of the Friends of Historic Champoeg, greets the relay
as the Sheriff arrives at the Visitors Center with the baton.

Sheriff Russ Isham passes the baton to Dan Pech, Rose City Harley
Owners Club.

Rose City Harley Owners Club riders take off from Champoeg State Park to the historic
Butteville Store. Approximately 80 motorcyclists participated in the relay ride on July 4.

Butteville

delegation stopped for lunch.

Donald

Dan Pech, Rose City Harley Owners Club, passes the baton to Donald Mayor Todd
Deaton. Commissioner Janet Carlson, Nancy Pech, and Kerrie Nevers, Harley owner
and manager at the Marion County Clerk's Office, observe the handoff.

Aurora

Hubbard

Dan and Nancy Pech from the Rose City Harley Owners Club pose with Hubbard Mayor
Jim Yonally, Laurie Boyce (Aurora City Recorder), and Donald Mayor Todd Deaton. A
ceremony was held in Hubbard at Rivenes Park.

Woodburn

Woodburn Mayor Kathy Figley greets the relay delegation at Centennial Park in Woodburn.
