Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
Flexible Spending Account is tax-exempt way to save money for out of pocket medical expenses. The account is administered through Professional Benefit Services and allows you to save up to $2500 per year, pre-tax, to use for expenses. To find out more, go to: Professional Benefit Services
Health Savings Account (HSA)
The Health Savings Account is tied to the high deductible Regence HDHP PPO Plan. To be eligible, you must not be enrolled in Medicare or receiving Social Security benefits. You also must not be enrolled in another medical plan. The account is administered through Key Bank. For 2017, the individual contribution limit has been raised by $50 to total $3400 per year. The family contribution limit has not changed.

To enroll in a dental plan, you must also be enrolled in one of the above medical plans. There are two dental plans to choose from:
- Delta Dental (Formerly Moda)
Kaiser Dental Plan
Employees may choose either dental plan with any of the medical plans. For example, the Kaiser Dental Plan may be paired with the Delta (Moda) Dental Plan.
Monthly Premium Costs
Marion County currently pays $1,396.00 toward the monthly premiums for Management health plans. The employee's premium share depends on which medical and dental plans are selected. Current premium rates are on the bottom of the Plan Summary.
Opt Out Incentive
Employees who choose to opt out of medical/vision and dental coverage will receive a $200 per month incentive split between the first two paychecks of the month. If employees have other medical coverage, they are eligible to opt out and can do so at any time during the year. Proof of other coverage must be provided.
