Employees may choose either dental plan with any of the medical plans. For example, the Kaiser HMO Plan may be paired with the Moda/ODS Dental Plan.
MONTHLY PREMIUM COSTSMarion County currently pays $1,346.00 toward the monthly premiums for MCEA, ONA, MCJEA, Unit 12, and management health plans and $1,454.00 toward the monthly premiums for FOPPO health plans. The employee's premium share depends on which medical and dental plans are selected. Please go here and refer to the chart at the end of the Marion County Health Plans Comparison and Summary for premium share amounts.OPT OUT INCENTIVEEmployees who choose to opt out of medical/vision and dental coverage will receive a $200 per month incentive split between the first two paychecks of the month. If employees have other medical coverage, they are eligible to opt out and can do so at any time during the year. Proof of other coverage must be provided.
