Be a Part of the Fun - Volunteer at the Marion County Fair!
It’s that wonderful time of the year when preparation for the 2017 Marion County Fair is in full swing! Volunteers needed July 5th - 9th to help with set-up, take-down and everything in between. All volunteers receive a T-shirt and free admission to the Fair. Information and applications are available on the Marion County Fair website.
Work with Homeless Dogs
The Dog Shelter is looking for volunteers who are committed, caring and responsible to truly make a difference in the lives of the abandoned and homeless animals in our care. You can make a difference!

Help Prepare and Respond to Emergencies
The Emergency Management Program is looking for community volunteers interested in helping prepare and respond to emergencies in Marion County. Opportunities include Amateur Radio Emergency Services, Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT), the Medical Reserve Corps, office/administrative support, and more.
