Community Forum on Toxics in Everyday Products

oxic chemicals have been found in thousands of children's products. This spring, Oregon will decide whether to take action.
Salem oncology nurse Jane Orlowski and other experts will discuss what toxics mean to our health and how to make your voice heard on pending laws in Oregon.
Light snacks will be provided. Registration is not required.
May 16th - Jefferson's Royal Family Night Out
, Thursday, May 16, 5:30 - 8:30 pm, Jefferson Baptist Church. A once-monthly night out for people who foster children (including grandparents and other relatives), to give them a break for an evening. Children enjoy free dinner, lots of activities, and loving care. Contact Tracey: 503.763.3377

This nationally recognized event gives deserving youngsters the opportunity to come in contact with community leaders and a chance for adults to be positive role models. Mentor a child for an evening - Volunteer mentors are needed for 150 youth.
