Libraries in Marion County A library is an important part of the fabric of a community. Much more than simply a collection of books or DVDs, a library is a central place that allows people to connect with nearly unlimited amounts of shared knowledge. Libraries testify to human intelligence and achievement. Many librarians hope that their library will become the “living room” of their community. In Marion County, we are fortunate to have many libraries that offer extensive resources for children, youth, and adults.
