Sexual Assault The time immediately following a sexual assault is often terrifying, embarassing, and confusing for victims. The weighty decision of whether to report or have a sexual assault exam is enough of a burden on a victim, without wondering how to pay for needed services. The SAVE Fund allows the medical exam to be conducted at no cost to the victim. The SAVE Fund relies on generous contributions in order to provide this service to victims of sexual assault in Oregon. No tax dollars support this critical need. Over 2000 victims in Oregon have asked providers to utilize the SAVE Fund for payment of needed services since March 2004. If you would like to donate or learn more about the SAVE Fund, please visit: this website.
