Integrated Delivery System (IDS) Committees
IDS Advisory Committee The IDS Advisory Committee is composed of representatives from each of the IDS provider agencies. Community and Provider Services (CAPS) staff and the Mid-Valley Independent Physician’s Association (MVIPA) provide staff assistance to the committee. The committee provides discussion and guidance regarding IDS operations and policy, provides financial guidance and input, and reviews and evaluates data for the service system.
The IDS Advisory Committee discusses issues of importance to the member agencies and makes recommendations to the CAPS. It is expected that important issues be brought to the committee and discussed prior to significant changes being made in the system. These issues include, but are not limited to:
If CAPS perceives a system need or change, that issue will be brought to the IDS Advisory Committee. Members of the IDS Advisory Committee will have the opportunity to discuss and address the perceived need or change. CAPS will inform the IDS Advisory Committee of important decisions and actions taken.

IDS Data Managers CommitteeThe IDS Data Managers Committee is composed of a minimum of one representative from each of the IDS provider agencies. Representatives are usually the lead data manager or billing manager at each agency. The IDS Advisory Committee provides oversight to the Data Managers Committee. CAPS staff and the MVIPA provide staff assistance to the committee. The IDS Data Managers provide system coordination relating to the flow of claims/encounter data and authorization information between the provider agencies and MVIPA website. The IDS Data Managers address issues that impact claims transmission, encounter data submission, reimbursement, and OHP eligibility.
The IDS Data Managers Committee meets monthly.
IDS Clinical CommitteeThe IDS Clinical Committee is composed of representative clinical supervisors from each of the IDS outpatient mental health and outpatient chemical dependency agencies. A representative from CAPS also attends the committee meetings. The IDS Clinical Committee provides system support, addresses quality initiatives and issues, and discusses clinical issues that impact service delivery and care needs.
Involvement in the IDS Clinical Committee is voluntary for the IDS provider agencies.
Clinical Supervisors from the participating agencies facilitate the IDS Clinical Committee. The meeting schedule for the committee is available from one of the attending clinical supervisors.
