For adults with developmental disabilities who require 24 hours support, residential programs provide training and supports in homes. In addition to room and board, these programs provide a variety of services from one to five individuals per home. Residential programs are responsible for monitoring health, behavioral, safety and dietary and recreational needs. All 24-Hour residential programs in Oregon are obligated to use the Individual Support Plan (ISP) which identifies the supports services needed for an individual. All residential providers must be in compliance with DHS licensing standards per applicable Oregon Administrative Rules.

Supported Living Services provide personalized supports unique to each individual who live in the home of their choice. Levels of support vary depending on an individual’s needs and preferences and as defined in the Individual Support Plan. Supported Living Services include up to 24 hours of training and support and room and board. These services must be in compliance of Oregon Administrative Rules 411-328-055.
