Anyone (e.g., physician, veterinarian, animal control personnel, law enforcement official, or animal owner) with knowledge of humans being bitten by potentially rabid animals is required to report such incidents to Marion County Environmental Health, (503) 588-5401, within one working day.
Any confirmed case of rabies in animals and any suspect or confirmed case of human rabies must be reported immediately (day or night) to Marion County Health Department, (503) 588-5621.
