Lab Reporting Requirements and Procedures
A number of communicable diseases are reportable by labs to local health departments in Oregon. For a list of lab-reportable diseases and conditions in Oregon, click HERE.
Diseases requiring immediate reporting or reporting within 24 hours (including weekends and holidays) can be reported to Marion County Health Department 24/7 by calling (503) 588-5621. If you call the main number (503 588-5621) after-hours, your call will be transferred to an on-call administrative staff member to whom you can report.
Diseases requiring reporting within one working day can be reported by phone (503) 588-5621, or by fax (503) 566-2920.
