Immunization Services
Immunizations are an excellent way to protect both children and adults against many diseases. Age-appropriate immunization starts at birth and continues through adulthood, with special emphasis through age two.
Marion County Health Department offers all vaccines required by law for daycare, preschool and K-12 schools, and most immunizations required for college in Oregon. We also carry a variety of other vaccines for children and adults.
Travel immunizations: We do not generally carry travel immunizations, with the exception of Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B vaccines, which may be indicated for some travelers. For specific information on travel immunizations visit the
CDC Travel Immunization (http://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/destinations/list) site.
Influenza (Flu): We offer several varieties of the flu vaccine including high dose for 65 and older, intranasal (no injection) and traditional flu shots. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommends a yearly flu vaccine for everyone 6 months of age and older.
To make an appointment for immunizations, request a copy of your immunization record, or for immunization questions, please call us at 503-588-5342.
