Aumsville Wetlands Bird Species Although no formal bird surveys have been conducted, the following birds have been seen on the site by Chemeketa Community College faculty and students: Bufflehead Turkey vulture American robin Mallard Sharp-shinned hawk Stellar's jay Wood duck Red-tailed hawk Scrub Jay Canada goose Western wood peewee American crow       Great blue heron Northern flicker Western tanager Pileated woodpecker Cedar waxwing Song sparrow Red-breasted sapsucker Red-breasted nuthatch Fox sparrow Mourning dove White-crowned sparrow Violet green swallow
