WHEN DO I NEED A MANUFACTURED DWELLING PERMIT?A permit is required for any:
MANUFACTURED DWELLING PLACEMENT PERMIT INCLUDES:One single permit fee is assessed to cover the placement of the manufactured dwelling, plumbing connection including 30 feet each of sewer and water lines, electrical connection, and mechanical connection.A separate electrical permit is required for the electrical service.The permit fee covers a maximum of three inspections, or two inspections and one reinspection if corrections are required. All blocking, installation of temporary or permanent stairs, and plumbing, electrical, and mechanical connections are required to be completed prior to request for the inspection. When requested by the permittee, an additional "Stand" inspection will be made prior to the placement of the home, for the purpose of determining the presence of fills or potential drainage problems. Installations which require a foundation system other than those identified in the Oregon Manufactured Dwelling Standards, shall also require a building permit.WHAT OTHER PERMITS MAY BE REQUIRED?
