Marion County Dog Shelter will hold it's 3rd Annual Rummage Sale on June 22nd & 23rdfrom 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.This rummage sale is a fundraiser for the care and housing of homeless dogs at Marion County Dog Shelter. To help make this fundraiser as successful this year as its been in the past, we are asking our community for donations. Dog shelter staff will be accepting donations at 5155 Silverton Road NE, Bldg. 13, in Salem on the following days: Every Friday from April 20 thru June 15 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., andApril 28, May 5, May 19, June 2, June 16 (Saturdays) from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.We hope you can give to this great event that helps fund the only programin Marion County that cares for homeless dogs. Other Donation Ideas! We are often asked what donated items we can use and accept at the shelter. These are items we currently need:Peanut Butter, Towels, Blankets, Dog Toys, Tennis Balls, Canned Dog Food, and Dog Treats.
