Press Releases News about Marion County Dog Shelter   Marion County Dog Shelter Benefits from Shopping Extravaganza at Woodburn Company Stores 09/27/11 - The 11th Annual Shopping Extravaganza will be held on Saturday, November 5th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Event tickets are only $25 and proceeds from tickets purchased from the Marion County Dog Shelter (or online designating "Marion County Dog Shelter" as your chosen beneficiary) will directly benefit the dog shelter. Read more ......      Marion County Dog Shelter Operating Hours to Change in January  12/17/10 - Beginning Monday, January 10, 2011, the Marion County Dog Shelter will be closed to the public on Mondays. The shelter will be open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Shelter staff will be available on Mondays to return dogs to their owners from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. However, dog adoptions and dog licensing will not be offered on Mondays.
