Auburn Rd Transportation Enhancement
Auburn Road from Lancaster Drive to Baldwin Avenue.
The proposed improvements would significantly reduce hazards to bicycles and pedestrians along the project and would provide them a link to side street sidewalks from Baldwin Avenue to Lancaster Drive. Proposed Construction Overview
1. Construct sidewalks and bike lanes from Baldwin Ave to Brenner Street.2. Replace deficient ADA ramps from the School, west to Lancaster Drive.3. Provide Street lighting on existing power poles. 4. Improve drainage to accommodate the additional roadway and sidewalk.
Cost Estimate
• Estimated Total Project Cost is $2.2M and includes engineering, right-of-way, and construction.
• Funded through a federal transportation enhancement grant and local match designed to fund urban bike and pedestrian enhancements.
