Single lane road at the Bear Trap slide site (milepost 3.81)

Ten-ton weight limit for single lane

Monitored twice weekly

Have you heard the news?

Marion County has been notified of the award of Federal Highway,
American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds to repair the major slide
commonly referred to as the "Bear Trap" slide!

        Schedule

        Engineering & Design:    Now through March 31, 2010
        Contract Review & Bidding:    April 2010 through May 2010
        Construction:    Summer 2010
        Embankment Consolidation:    Fall 2010 through Spring 2011
        Paving:    Summer 2011



A PUBLIC MEETING HAS BEEN SCHEDULED TO PRESENT INFORMATION REGARDING THE UPCOMING PROJECT
