Santana neighborhood park was donated by Larry Epping, developer of the Santana Village subdivision. As part of the agreement for the donation, the County agreed to install adjoining sidewalks, streets, curbs, and utilities. Santana Park is a good example of a method by which park facilities can be provided in subdivisions through cooperation between developers and the County. The park serves a large population area east of Salem.
