1.) Recording fees apply to all partition, subdivision, condominium, and cemetery plats recorded. Marion County Surveyor's Office collects these fees: Checks must be made payable to the following departments and vendors.

2.) In addition to the adopted fee, an additional fee based on hourly rates for necessary repeated calculations or erroneous data, and necessary repeated field inspections due to erroneously placed, disturbed, or destroyed monuments shall be collected prior to the approval of the survey or plat by the County Surveyor. This additional fee applies to surveys as well as subdivision, partition, condominium, and cemetery plats.

3.) For cemetery plats, the actual cost shall be estimated and a deposit of 120% shall be submitted prior to review. Any deficiency shall be paid prior to plat approval and any excess shall be refunded within 60 days of plat recording.

4.) Pursuant to County Ordinance 981, the County Surveyor shall provide an office review of all plats within city limits where the city has chosen to have the plat checking service provided by a city surveyor under ORS 92.100(1). The fee for this service shall be $225.00.
