Marion County is conducting a number of restoration projects within the Mill Creek Watershed. These projects include recreating a 30-acre upland prairie, restoring a 77-acre wetland complex, and retrofitting six culverts to reestablish 25 kilometers of salmon habitat. Marion County will work with the Mill Creek Watershed Council, area residents, and natural resource management agencies to prioritize future restoration projects.
