Fargo Interchange Service District was formed in 1992 and should become operational by the end of 1997. The district was formed to correct system problems with Union 76 and to provide service to the surrounding area. The majority of customers will be industrial users - truck stops, restaurants, RV park located at I-5 and Ehlen Road. Billing will be through Marion County Fiscal Services based on average monthly flows to be treated at the City of Donald treatment plant. Funding provided by property owners within the district.The districts meet with the Marion County Board of Commissioners as the governing body of the districts. Each district has an advisory committee made up of residents from that district to advise the district and governing body of issues concerning the district and to serve on the budget committee.
