Labish Village Sewage & Drainage District in 1975 by a vote of the people and construction funded by a 30 year loan from FHA to provide sewer service to the Labish area north Salem. The City of Salem does bi-monthly billing for approximately 150 residential accounts and the district handles collection of delinquent accounts.The districts meet with the Marion County Board of Commissioners as the governing body of the districts. Each district has an advisory committee made up of residents from that district to advise the district and governing body of issues concerning the district and to serve on the budget committee.
