· CHECK-IN: Visitors must arrive at the Jail Visiting Lobby during the designated sign-up times listed in the visiting schedule. Visits are 30 minutes in length and are non-contact in nature.
For Marion County Jail Visitors
Clothing worn in this facility must be conservative in nature. Clothing that is unduly suggestive or tight fitting, similar to inmate attire, or creates a security hazard is not allowed.
Clothing must not expose an undue amount of flesh and must not be see through. The body must be covered from 2 inches above the knee cap to the shoulders. Clothing may not expose any cleavage or the back below the shoulder blades. Thighs and mid-section must be covered.

No Hats: Accommodations may be made on a case-by-case basis for religious headgear consistent with established security practices.
It shall be within the discretionary authority of Marion County Sheriff’s Office staff to determine the appropriateness for visitation, of any attire not specifically prohibited by policy.
