2009 News ReleasesThe Manufactured Dwelling Park Community Relations Program (MDPCR) of the Oregon Housing and Community Services was previously known as the Ombudsman Program. The name was changed, legislatively in 2007, to more accurately reflect the statutory requirements for the program. The Marion County Assessors Office will change the Ombudsman notation on all applicable tax bills in recognition of the statutory requirements of the program.
The ombudsman notation on applicable 2008-2009 tax bills will be changed to “ORHOUSINGMDPCR-OMBSMN” for one year. After this interim year (2008-09), the final change will take place, and all future applicable tax bills will have the “ORHOUSINGMDPCR-OMBSMN” notation changed to “ORHOUSINGMDPCR”
