Following the resignation of Representative Vic Gilliam from the Oregon House of Representatives, Clackamas County and Marion County commissioners will hold a joint session on Wednesday, Feb. 22, to interview candidates and select a replacement for the open position.

The meeting will be held from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Mt. Angel Fire District located at 300 Monroe St. in Mt. Angel. Members of the public are welcome to attend. Time has been set aside at the beginning of the meeting for public comment. Written comments may be submitted until 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21. To be included in the record, comments must include the commenter's full name and address.

    Please submit comments to:
    Clackamas County: bcc@co.clackamas.or.us or
    Marion County: commissioners@co.marion.or.us

The session will be videotaped and archived on Clackamas County's YouTube Channel and broadcast on the Clackamas County Government Channel and Capital Community Television in Marion County.
