The Marion County Board of Commissioners will meet in regular session at 9 a.m. on September 13, 2017, at the Donald Fire Hall. The fire hall is located at 20909 Feller St., in Donald.
The commissioners occasionally hold community board sessions to highlight issues important to Marion County's cities. The board encourages community participation and time is set aside at the beginning of each meeting for public comment. This is the third community board session of 2017 following meetings in the city of Hubbard and at the Marion County Fair.
Community leaders will be on hand to provide information and updates about issues important to Donald and the surrounding community. Featured speakers include Mayor Rick Olmsted, City of Donald; City Manager Heidi Bell; Public Works Director Alonso Limones; Dave Hetrick, Donald Hazelnut Festival; Chief Rod Yoder, Aurora Rural Fire District; Commander Eric Hlad, Marion County Sheriff's Office; Superintendent Ginger Redlinger, North Marion School District; and representatives from the Donald business community.
