Construction Delays North Fork Park Opening

    Posted by: Public Works

MEHAMA, OR – Marion County's North Fork Park, which is located along the North Fork of the Santiam River, was previously scheduled to open on June 1, 2017, after a construction project to expand and pave the parking lot is completed. Due to weather and construction delays, the season opening has been delayed until June 16, which coincides with local schools' first day of summer break.

Other parks in the North Fork Corridor are Bear Creek Campground and Park, which opened on May 1, and Salmon Falls Park, which is expected to open June 1. All are open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily.
