Spotlight on Volunteer Opportunities
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Marion County! These are just a sample of new requests for volunteers, please visit the ongoing opportunities page for a list of recruitments by department.
Marion County Fair Board - Key Volunteers
Key Volunteers are needed to help provide leadership and oversight to independently coordinated fair projects. This is an active board, not just a planning board, so you must be willing and able to attend monthly meetings as well as assist with the 4-day fair during the second weekend of July! Key Volunteers serve at the pleasure of the Board of Commissioners. Although they do not have a formal vote on fair board business, they are considered first when there is an opening on the fair board.
