Marion County Children's Behavioral Health (CBH)
CBH offers a full range of outpatient services, including mental health assessments, individual/family/group counseling, case management/consultation, skills training, psychiatric assessment and medication management, and crisis intervention. Services available to Medicaid eligible clients ages 0-18 and their families.
CBH is offering infant and toddler groups and services focused on enhancing the parent-child relationship and promoting healthy development.
The following is a list of groups/classes that are currently being offered:
Parent-Child Attunement Therapy (PCAT) - evidenced based treatment for parent/caregivers with children between birth and 2 years old. Dyadic therapy focused on increasing parent’s attunement and attachment to their infant. The families will participate in weekly session and receive in home support to help generalize these skills.
Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) – evidenced based treatment for parent/caregivers with children between the ages of 2-7 years old. Dyadic therapy focused on enhancing the parent-child relationship and decreasing child’s negative behaviors. Infant Massage – promotes nurturing touch and secure attachment between the parent/caregiver and infant. Infant Massage is offered as a 5 week group and also available for families 1:1 with an Infant Massage Therapist. To view the brochure click

Circle of Security - based on attachment theory and increases capacity of the caregiver to recognize and sensitively respond to their child’s needs. Circle of Security is offered as a 10 week group. To view the brochure click

Fostering Attachment - Helping to support strong bonds between children and parents. Part of the Fostering Attachment curriculum is in home support offered by Skills Trainers. To view the brochure click

Looking ahead to the Spring of 2014, you can pre-register for the following class:
Autism 101 - The group is aimed to provide a comprehensive overview of the diagnosis process, school collaboration, sensory needs and therapies. This group will be offered in both English and Spanish. To view the brochure click
here . Marion County is able to service families with OHP insurance and noninsured families. Marion County offers PCIT services to families in Woodburn and Salem areas. To refer families to services please contact our parent coordinator, Carmen Swan at 503-588-5352.
