What is Monkeypox?
Monkeypox (hMPXV) is in the same group of viruses as smallpox, but hMPXV is much harder to catch and it is not as severe. Cases by gender identity, sexual orientation and race-ethnicity
Gender identity, sexual orientation, and race-ethnicity questions allow one or more selections, thus totals may be higher than the total number of cases. Case counts from 1 to 5 are suppressed and published as 1-5. Case counts greater than five are published as the number. These values will be updated monthly.
