The following are some good sites to look at for lesson plans and more information on composting, recycling, and waste management.  If you are looking for something specific, contact Bailey Payne (503) 365-3191.​

• If you are not already an Oregon Green School​, we would love to help you become one! 
• Marion County's website has videos about recycling.  If you would like a free DVD that shows how the recyclables are separated and turned into new things, call (503) 365-3191 to request a copy of "Saving Little Pieces of Our Earth"
   
• The California Integrated Waste Management Board has a really good set of lesson plans called "Closing the Loop".

• King County has lesson plans that you can download:

• This is a 100 page manual on school composting that the Connecticut Dept. of Environmental Protection created.  It is a great resource! 
   
• The School Garden Project of Lane County is a fantastic resource!  Their "On Site Composting at Schools" document is really good.
