    COVID-19 Update 4-3-2020

    ​Today, Oregon Health Authority (OHA) announced 73 new COVID-19 cases in the state, including 14 new cases in Marion County. The announcement brings the statewide total number of cases to 899.

    We continue to encourage our community members to practice social distancing measures to help slow the spread of coronavirus in Oregon.

    The following demographic information from OHA’s report has a total number of positive cases in Marion County of 178. Marion County cases reflect more than what was announced by OHA. 

    Marion County Cases:
    Positive tests = 179
    Negative tests = 1,499
    Hospitalized = 49
    Deaths = 5

    Age groups for confirmed cases:
    19 or younger = 2
    20 to 29 = 21
    30 to 39 = 29
    40 to 49 = 33
    50 to 59 = 28
    60 to 69 = 30
    70 to 79 = 22
    80+ = 15
