2025 Community Academy

Come join us in our Marion County Sheriff's Office Community Academy program! Expand your knowledge and understanding of the important role's public safety plays in our communities and get a behind-the-scenes look at local law enforcement. This 8-week course is offered on Wednesday evenings and two Saturday classes, with division overviews, facility tours and demonstrations from specialized teams. Enrollment is limited to 30 slots, deadline for admission is Monday, September 1st.

 IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS

• We ask that you commit to the course when signing up to get the full benefits of the curriculum.

• Must be 18 years of age or older to register.

• Must not have any felonies on your record.

• Must live in Marion County, OR.

• Background checks will be conducted prior to acceptance into the course.

• Space is limited.
