SNAP and WIC Update – October 20, 2025
The federal government shutdown has created uncertainty for food assistance programs. SNAP benefits for October have been issued as normal, and the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) has confirmed that additional federal funding from USDA will allow the Oregon WIC Program to continue providing benefits and operating local agencies through
mid-November 2025. Families are encouraged to check their benefit status regularly and reach out for community support if needed.
