Summary of Services
The tuberculosis (TB) program provides assessment for active (contagious) TB disease as well as latent (non-contagious) infection. Other services include:
- Case management
- Contact investigation
- Community outreach
- Education
Staff provide TB skin testing to high-risk populations. Clients who meet the priorities for services and who have a positive TB skin test are provided with language-appropriate education, medical evaluation, and medication management. The TB program staff are also available for consultation with outside agencies and questions from our community.
Residents who have a personal physician and/or healthcare provider are encouraged to follow-up with their provider.
Fees for services do apply, however, no one is turned away because of inability to pay.
