SALEM, OR - Marion County's contractor, Knife River Corporation, will perform night work May 30, 2017 through June 1, 2017. Construction will include the application of centerline and shoulder striping, crosswalks, traffic arrows, and bike lane symbols. Motorist should expect delays of up to 20 minutes at the intersection of Silverton Road NE and Cordon Road NE, and are encouraged to use alternative routes.
The road will remain open during construction with flaggers directing traffic through the work area. Crossing over the centerline will be restricted to allow the new striping sufficient curing time. Marion County and Knife River Corporation appreciates your patience during construction. Please obey all posted construction signs and remember the flaggers are there for your protection.
For question regarding this project, please call Bob Pankratz, Project Engineer, at 503-588-5036 or email bpankratz@co.marion.or.us.
