Assessor's OfficeThe Assessor's Office is responsible for assessing all properties in Marion County which includes commercial, industrial, rural and urban properties, manufactured structures and business personal property.
Board of CommissionersThe Board of Commissioners, with three commissioners elected at large, makes policy decisions; sets directions for departments under board authority; appoints advisory committees; approves budgets, grants and contracts; and maintains relations with local, regional, state and federal governments and groups.

District AttorneyThe District Attorney's Office, an arm of the executive branch of government, is responsible for seeking justice through: Interpreting, enforcing, and executing the law; responding to the concerns of victims and the public; working cooperatively with members of the justice system; and educating the community.

HealthIn collaboration with community partners, the Marion County Health Department provides high-quality service and leadership in promoting individual and community health for all people in Marion County.
Housing AuthorityThe agency, financed primarily with state and federal grants and loans, works with builders, local banks and a variety of other community partners to build and maintain affordable housing to match with eligible families and individuals.
Information Technology
Justice CourtsJustice courts are funded by the county. Minor traffic offenses, some misdemeanors and small civil claims are heard in these courts. In addition the justice courts hear cases relating to violations of county ordinances, such as charges of excessive noise or dogs running at large.
JuvenileThe Juvenile Department provides services to youth who have been arrested for law violations and are in need of structured supervision and accountability for their actions.
Legal CounselThe Office of Legal Counsel provides legal services to the Board of Commissioners, county departments, boards, commissions and individual county employees when required by the Oregon Tort Claims Act.
Marion County FairThe Marion County Fair has been a proud tradition since the 1860's for thousands of people of all ages, who enjoy the offerings of a real county fair. The mission of the Marion County Fair is to promote the diverse agricultural and cultural heritage of Marion County through active participation of its citizens.

Sheriff's OfficeThe Sheriff's Office continues to set the standard in the county in providing citizens the best in law enforcement services. That is only part of what your Sheriff's Office provides. We reach out to the community through information distribution and providing resources to empower citizens in protecting their homes, property and neighborhoods.
Tax OfficeThe Marion County Tax Department collects the property taxes for Marion County and distributes those funds to the various taxing districts within the county.
Treasurer's OfficeThe Treasurer’s Office receipts all Marion County revenue. . The treasurer controls the flow of money to and from the county and maintains records for the receipt, investment and payment of county funds. The treasurer maintains bank accounts at various banks as well as the State Treasury Investment Pool.
