    COVID-19 Update 3-27-2020

    Today, the Oregon Health Authority reported 98 positive cases of COVID-19 in Oregon bringing the statewide total to 414. This includes 26 new cases in Marion County.

    We are saddened to announce a third COVID-19 death in Marion County. The individual was an 82-year-old woman with underlying medical conditions. She tested positive on March 20 and died March 25 at Salem Hospital. Our condolences are with the family at this difficult time. We continue to encourage our community members to practice social distancing measures to help slow the spread of coronavirus in Oregon.

    Marion County Cases:
    Positive tests = 83
    Negative tests = 731
    Hospitalized = 25
    Deaths = 3

    Age groups for confirmed cases:
    17 or younger = 1
    18 to 24 = 1
    25 to 34 = 11
    35 to 54 = 32
    55+ = 38
