Summary of Services
In order to help maintain the health of our community, the Marion County Health Department epidemiology team investigates individual cases and outbreaks of reported communicable diseases. We work to control and contain the spread of diseases, monitor disease trends, and often provide current statistics and other information to doctors, hospitals, the public and news media. We also provide education or preventive treatment.
