Upcoming Events
1. April 7 & 8th, 2023: ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training). ASIST is a two-day face-to-face workshop featuring powerful audiovisuals, discussions, and simulations. Participants will practice listening for and responding to suicide warning signs, gain confidence in asking someone directly about suicide, and practice intervention in a safe environment. The training is $50 and includes lunch, a training booklet, snacks. 12.5 CEUs available. Location: Western Oregon University. Click here to register.

2. April 24, 2023: High School Youth Video Contest. Marion County Prevention, Polk County Family & Community Outreach, and Salem Health Injury Prevention are hosting a video contest for high school youth about mental health awareness. Prizes are awarded for submitted videos and Top-3 winners. All Marion County & Polk County high school teens are invited to participate! See more in links below.
