Tuberculosis Services
The TB program provides assessment for active (contagious) TB disease as well as latent (non-contagious) infection. Other services include case management, contact investigation, community outreach, and education.
Staff provide tuberculosis skin testing to high-risk populations. Clients who meet the priorities for services and who have a positive tuberculosis skin test are provided with education (language-appropriate), medical evaluation and medication management. The TB department staff are also available for consultation with outside agencies and do respond to questions from our community.
Residents who have a personal physician and/or healthcare provider are encouraged to follow-up with their provider.
Fees for services do apply. No one is turned away because of inability to pay.
