About Fresh Start Market & Espresso

The Fresh Start Market and Espresso is a program at the Marion County Juvenile Department.

The purpose of the program is to provide an opportunity for youth to earn and pay restitution to crime victims while learning job skills. The youth learn skills related to customer service, handling cash, barista, merchandizing, stocking and various other tasks oriented towards daily operational duties.

The market offers a variety of coffee drinks, smoothies, soups, salads, sandwiches, seasonal fruits and vegetables, firewood, kindling, hand crafted items, and holiday gifts.
