Materials Management Advisory Council
Marion County Public Works Environmental Services has a nineteen-member advisory council that makes recommendations to the department on waste reduction and disposal policy issues. The Materials Management Advisory Council (MMAC) is made up of elected officials and staff from 8 Marion County cities, industry representatives, and citizens. Members meet once per month in a formal setting to discuss policies on how to reduce both waste flow and toxicity in our county. If you would like to apply, please complete the
