2023 Volunteer Awards - Now accepting nominations through Friday, March 22nd!
Marion County Board of Commissioners recognize outstanding volunteers with annual volunteer awards. Volunteers are recognized in 5 categories: Youth Volunteer of the Year (age 7-17 yrs), Advisory Board Volunteer of the Year, Division/Program Award (18+ yrs), Commissioner Mary Pearmine Outstanding Volunteer Group Award, and the Judge Rex Hartley Volunteer of the Year Award.
Anyone may nominate a county volunteer or group for this annual recognition. Volunteers may be honored for ongoing or past service to a program, or for work on a one-time project. Volunteers should be recognized for service during the calendar year 2023. Nominations are accepted year-round, with an annual deadline set each year. The deadline to submit a nomination for the 2023 Volunteer Awards is Friday, March 08, 2024 **Extended to March 22nd**

2022 Volunteer Awards
The awards recognizing Marion County volunteers for their 2022 service were presented at the Marion County Fair in July of 2023. Congratulations, and thank you to all our nominees and recipients.
