Marion County Economic Development Tourism Support

Marion County's Economic Development Program is launching a new Tourism Grant Program! These grants provide funding to promote Marion County tourism.
If you provide tourism marketing for areas in Marion County, Oregon, consider applying for a grant. Eligible organizations include Marion County Destination Management Organizations (DMO's), Chambers, Cities, non-profit organizations, and for-profit businesses.
The grant categories include:
- Salem Metro Area Grant – 1 award
- Granted to a single organization responsible for tourism marketing in the Salem Area through a three-year grant agreement, up to $100,000 per year, for a total grant award of up to $300,000 over 3 years.
- North Marion Region Grant - 1 award
- Granted to a single organization responsible for tourism marketing in the North Marion Region through a three-year grant agreement, up to $50,000 per year, for a total grant award of up to $150,000 over 3 years.
- Marion County Grant for Chambers, Cities, non-profit organizations, and businesses – Multiple awards
- This grant will be distributed each year and may be divided among multiple recipients, with a total combined amount of up to $50,000 available each year.
