HOW TO DISPOSE OF SPOILED FOOD
Salem, Keizer, Stayton, Silverton, Turner, Jefferson, and Woodburn residents living within the city limits can put food & yard waste in the yard debris/mixed organics cart.
If you're not sure, call your local garbage hauler to see if you have curbside compost offered in your area. If you do not have a mixed organics cart, please dispose of food waste in your regular garbage can.
