Personal Support Workers
Summary of Services
Personal Support Workers (PSW) assist individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities who receive Medicaid in-home services through the Office of Developmental Services. Personal Support Workers must:
- Be at least 18 years of age;
- Pass a background check;
- Be legally able to work in the United States.

How long does it take?
Processing time can vary and may take as long as 10-12 weeks. To help avoid delays, please make sure your forms are filled out completely. You will be contacted by email if your application needs corrections.
