Children's Behavioral Health (CBH) provides general outpatient mental health services to youth ages 0-17 years and their families who are Medicaid eligible. At CBH, our mission is for individuals to have meaningful connections, skills to meet life tasks, and hope for the future.
We are proud to offer Same Day Access (SDA) intakes for Children's Behavioral Health (CBH). Once you submit a completed registration packet, you can call Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. to schedule an intake assessment for 1:00 p.m. that day (subject to therapist availability).
Your registration packet is valid for 30 days from the date of receipt. If you have not had an intake within 30 days, you will need to resubmit the packet.
We utilize a care team model in which our healthcare professionals work together to coordinate services for each individual. We aim to provide intensive services and supports early in treatment to meet the individual needs of youth and families more efficiently. Using trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices, we strive to improve treatment satisfaction and enhance quality of life.

Your first appointment, called an intake, is different from a therapy session. You will first meet with a member of your therapist's care team, who will review the services and supports available to you. Your therapist will then lead a structured conversation by asking questions to learn more about your child's and family's concerns, your specific situation, and your goals. At the end of the appointment, you will work together to develop an individualized treatment plan.
At CBH, we believe therapy is most effective when combined with other supportive services. Based on your needs, your therapist may recommend the following services in addition to therapy:
- Psychotherapy (individual and family)
- Group therapy
- Skills training (individual and group)
- Case management
- Peer support services
- Psychiatric assessment and medication management (we do not provide medication-only services)
Please note that all the above services are available only to those enrolled at CBH with a therapist. We are unable to offer the supporting services if you receive therapy elsewhere.
Bilingual Spanish services are available, as well as interpreter support for many other languages.
